William Scharnberg played a great performance of the entire set at the International Horn Symposium, summer 2024. The recording we got wasn't the greatest, so I'm in the process of remastering that. So some of the pieces you hear are with Bill (#1, 4 & 9) and some are still of me playing the horn part on the synth. I'll get the whole program uploaded soon! By the way, Bill's performance of #4 was especially outstanding!!! He developed some fantastic effects that really fit the Magpie sounds. Thanks for the whole performance, Bill, but especially that one movement! Portions of the work have also received performances by Dr. Lydia Van Dreel (University of Oregon), and Michelle Stebleton's wonderful student, Tarre Nelson (Florida State University).
